The Hawaii Pickleball Academy™ Player Development Series — is a focused 5-week training program designed to help players of all ages improve faster in a structured, small-group environment.

Players are placed into Level 1 (Foundations), Level 2 (Consistency & Strategy), or Level 3 (Advanced Play & Confidence) to ensure the right fit and balanced groups.

Private Pickleball Lessons in Honolulu – How to Find the Perfect Coach for You

Level 1 – Foundations

Great for newer players or anyone looking to build a stronger, more reliable base for their game.

Focus:
• Comfortable grip and clean stroke technique
• Serve and return consistency
• Dink fundamentals and control
• Understanding court positioning
• Guided match play with coaching feedback

Outcome:
You’ll build confidence, develop steady fundamentals, and feel comfortable joining open play and recreational games.

Level 2 – Consistency & Strategy

Designed for players who can play full games and want greater control, consistency, and smarter point construction.

Focus:
• Developing your 3rd shot (drop and drive)
• Confident transition zone movement
• Soft game control and resets
• Doubles positioning and awareness
• Structured point play with coaching feedback

Outcome:
You’ll reduce unforced errors, improve shot selection, and play matches with more control and intention.

Level 3 – Advanced Play & Confidence

Ideal for experienced players who want to refine skills, improve patterns, and compete more comfortably at higher levels.

Focus:
• Recognizing and handling speed-ups
• Countering, blocking, and resetting
• Pattern play and point development
• Strategic adjustments during games
• Match-style training with coaching feedback

Outcome:
You’ll compete with confidence, handle pressure situations better, and feel prepared for stronger recreational or tournament play.

Program Details

  • 5 Weeks of Structured Saturday Training
  • $380 for the full 5-session series (Levels 1–3, 1.5 hours per session)
  • Limited to 8 players per level (2 courts for maximum reps and personalized coaching feedback)
  • Washington Middle School – convenient central Honolulu location

Training Times

• Level 1: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
• Level 2: 9:45 AM – 11:15 AM
• Level 3: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

• Assessment Session required for proper level placement

Spots are intentionally limited to preserve quality instruction, balanced groups, and meaningful development.

Player Assessment & Placement Session

All interested players begin with a one-hour on-court assessment to ensure the right fit and balanced training groups.

• 60-minute structured evaluation
• Personalized level placement

If selected for the program, the $30 assessment fee will be credited toward your tuition.
