Although we both have tennis experience, this was our first time playing pickleball.

Our one-hour lesson with Honza was friendly, patient, and highly effective. He made it easy for us to understand the fundamentals and enjoy learning this new sport. At the end of the lesson, he even gave us some practice balls as a thoughtful gift.

We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to request a second lesson!

We would also like to thank Lauren for arranging our lessons. The booking process was quick, smooth, and completely stress-free.

A wonderful experience all around! We truly appreciate Honza and Lauren for making our introduction to pickleball in Hawaii so enjoyable.

He will send you a summary of things you learned and the corrections too which is useful when practicing.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve taken Pickleball lessons at another place, and not really satisfied with that instructor’s way of teaching. He did not teach techniques to apply a specific shots, ie dinks, volleys, etc. Honza and Lauren does a great job instructing technique to use and the why’s. They take the time to make sure you grasp a specific skill even if you’re the weaker player in the group!

I am a 50+ 4.5 player visiting from mainland and on a whim set up this lesson with coach Honza. We played skinny singles to assess my game. Of course I didn’t win many points and he identified a significant weakness in my drives. We spent most of the lesson working on improving my stroke. It was not easy, but my stroke improved significantly by the end of the lesson. We also worked on letting out balls go, a weakness I wanted to work on. Overall, very helpful lesson and I would encourage anyone to give it a go if they want to get better at pickleball. Well worth the money!

He helped improve my dinks by offering adjustments via body position, foot work, arm and paddle position.  There was a lot learned for the intro hour long session. They responded quickly and made coordination of a private lesson for me and my family so easy.
