The inaugural OUTRIGGER OPEN brought players to the stunning Keauhou Bay on Hawai'i Island for a week of competitive pickleball and aloha spirit. Hosted at the newly renovated OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa, participants enjoyed oceanfront views, cultural activities, and the famous Feast & Fire lūʻau alongside thrilling matches on the court.

• All Amateur divisions: Round Robin + Single Elimination playoff for medals (minimum 4 matches guaranteed)

The 3rd Annual "Paddle for HUGS" Pickleball Tournament brings the community together for a great cause — supporting Hawaii's seriously ill children and their families through HUGS. This unsanctioned mixed doubles, round-robin event is open to players ages 13+ of all skill levels, with divisions for beginners (up to 3.0) and advanced players (3.5+), plus three age brackets in each division. Expect a minimum of 6 games, fun competition, and medals for the top finishers. Beginners welcome!

The World Pickleball Tour (WPT) brought its amateur-focused tournament series to Hawaii for the 2025 Holiday Open. Part of nearly 35 events in 2025, the WPT provides grassroots competition for players of all skill levels, with all medalists earning discounted entry to the 2025 WPT Amateur Invitational Championships featuring a $175,000 cash purse. Players enjoyed competitive matches, DUPR score syncing, giveaways, and a true celebration of the sport in paradise.

• Unsanctioned Round Robin event
• 6 guaranteed matches (games to 11, win by 2)
• Single elimination playoff after Round Robin
• Skill/Age Brackets: 3.0–5.0; 19+, 30+, 40+, 50+, 60+ (70+ possible after registration closes)
• 18 & under may register for 19+
• Multiple events allowed on the same day if no schedule conflict

The Maui Pukaball Tournament returned to the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch in 2026, bringing together players of all ages for a fun, competitive week of pickleball in paradise. The event featured senior divisions mid-week, under-50 divisions on the weekend, and rally-scoring singles on the final day. Lodging was available steps away at the Outrigger Kā'anapali Beach Resort.
