By accessing or using the Hawaii Pickleball Academy® website, registering for programs, attending lessons, clinics, camps, tournaments, or otherwise participating in our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

About Us

Hawaii Pickleball Academy® is operated by Pickleball Coach 808 LLC and provides pickleball instruction, training programs, clinics, camps, tournaments, events, and related services throughout Hawaiʻi.

Eligibility

Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate in programs or submit information through our website.

Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate registration and emergency contact information for minors.

Program Registration

By registering for any lesson, clinic, camp, tournament, event, or program, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Follow instructor and staff directions
  • Arrive prepared and on time
  • Conduct yourself respectfully and safely

Hawaii Pickleball Academy® reserves the right to refuse service or remove participants for unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.

Payments and Refunds

Program fees and registration fees must be paid according to the terms provided at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payments are non-refundable
  • Missed sessions are not guaranteed as makeup sessions
  • Private lesson cancellations generally require at least 24 hours’ notice
  • Program or camp cancellations may be subject to separate cancellation policies

Hawaii Pickleball Academy® may issue credits, reschedule sessions, or provide refunds at its sole discretion.

Assumption of Risk

Participation in pickleball and related athletic activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Falls
  • Collisions
  • Physical injury
  • Illness
  • Equipment-related injuries

By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Participants are encouraged to consult a physician before participating in athletic activities.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hawaii Pickleball Academy®, Pickleball Coach 808 LLC, its owners, coaches, instructors, contractors, staff, affiliates, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in programs or use of the website.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, Hawaii Pickleball Academy® may contact Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and take reasonable action to protect participant safety.

Participants and/or guardians are responsible for any medical costs incurred.

Photo and Media Release

Unless otherwise requested in writing, participants grant Hawaii Pickleball Academy® permission to use photographs and video recordings taken during programs, events, and activities for educational, promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

Participant names and sensitive personal information will not intentionally be publicly disclosed without consent.

Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, trademarks, graphics, curriculum materials, videos, photographs, and branding associated with Hawaii Pickleball Academy® are the property of Pickleball Coach 808 LLC unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.

Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to interfere with website security
  • Upload malicious software or harmful code
  • Use the website for unlawful purposes
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
